I am a small breeder and do not have kennels. My dogs are well cared for, fed, and live with us in our house. Since I have just 3 females, I don't often have puppies. However when I do have puppies, I will have up to date photos and videos of the pups as they grow. I feed raw and home cooked food as well as Life's Abundance and BARF for my dogs, and I use NuVet and Nupro supplements. They are all up to date on heartworm prevention, and I also genetically test my dogs with OFA, Genetic Health Testing, and through bloodwork.

I often get asked what to feed your dog. Check the link above for a discussion on dog food.I really think that the Raw diet will be the trend in the near future, just because people are realizing that pet health care is getting scary with all the skin, coat, thyroid, cancer, kidney, digestive, allergy, and generally immune system issues etc. that are plaguing our pets in recent years. And I think it is because of the commercial dog food. I think dogs might have been healthier way back in the old days when people fed their dogs meat scraps instead of the feed we have now. What we have now is pretty similar to what is fed livestock.
Dogs need to eat meat. If we feed dogs a cheap dog food, what is the meat in that food? If you go to the grocer or meat market, you know that real meat - not fillers with a bit of meat in them - cost at least $3.00 a pound. Although sometimes you can get it for $2.00 a pound. This might be chicken. So, if we buy dog food and it is .50 cents a pound, I think we know that there is no real meat in it. To feed healthy, we just have to pay for the real meat. And fruits and veggies cost something also. So if we find a nice cheap dog food, we should think twice about feeding it to our dogs because we might mess up their digestive system or they might get allergies, or immune system issues, then we will need to take them to the vet and pay them the money we thought we were saving by feeding cheap food. Plus, we are just adding misery to our beloved pets.
I recommend feeding raw for puppies as they start weaning. I might add brown rice or quinoa, or oats for adults. You can get some chicken cheaply. However, you need to add a supplement made for a raw diet so that the dog is not deficient in anything. It's complicated. If you would rather feed with home cooked, you can put everything in a pressure cooker or crock pot. Don't feed cooked bones to your dog!
An easier method would be to purchase the food already made up.
Barf Word makes excellent food. Dogs absolutely love this stuff! Even finicky dogs love this stuff. The price is not too bad if you have it shipped to you monthly, especially for small dogs. I have an account with Barf. This is where I get it:

If you have a big dog, you could feed part of the Barf Raw for one feeding and good kibble for the other.

Remember that kibble can have things in it you don't want to feed your pet. And sometimes the bags sit in the store way too long. Have you ever picked up a bag and brought it home to find out it is rancid? I have. So, if there really is meat in that bag it won't be .50 cents a pound.
I recommend Life's Abundance. They don't sell it in stores because they want to have control over how fresh it is. So you have to buy it online, just like the Barf Raw.
Actually it is kind of impressive how they make the food, they cook it so that the good enzymes aren't cooked out of it, so you get more value for your dollar. Anyway, if you don't think you could stick with the raw or if you would like to go half and half or just want to use kibble, try to use Life's Abundance.

The miniatures doodles are the result of a female retriever bred artificially with a male toy poodle. Or, a goldendoodle bred to a miniature poodle artificially. They usually grow to approximately 20 to 40 pounds, with a variety of sizes in each litter.
Our dogs live in our home and outside. Puppies are born in our home and raised here for several weeks. They receive lots of attention and love and kisses from our family and friends. We use Springtime Inc. products to improve the health of our dogs. We recommend their Bug Off Garlic and Longevity whole food formula or Fresh Factors. www.springtimeinc.com
We feed our dogs Drs. Foster and Smith dog food as well as a raw food diet. I feel the dry food from Drs. F and S is economical and superior to others. It contains no wheat or corn, and is loaded with probiotics for easy digestion.

If you are interested in one of our puppies, send us your email address and we will notify you when we have a litter of doodles. If we think you would make a good match with one of our puppies we will notify you. If there is a puppy available for you, a deposit will reserve a puppy for you.
We use female labrador retreivers, female golden retreivers, female goldendoodles, and male toy poodles to produce our doodle puppies.These are the miniature F1 or F1b variety.
To produce the miniature variety of doodles, we use artificial insemination. This procedure is very tricky and often unsuccessful, therefore not often available.
